Makeup and Hairstyling for Editorial Work

As a  Las Vegas Makeup Artist Fashion Glamour Specialist getting fun editorial assignments is something I have always loved working on.

Doing makeup and hair for editorial assignments is always exciting.  The budgets are almost always on the smaller side, but you know your work will be published and that you will be be working with others that are doing it not just because of the money but also because of a love for the work.

Editorial work is usually freer and allows more creativity.  It is where most of my more creative portfolio images over the years have come from.

Doing editorial work for magazines has introduced me to some excellent photographers, models and art directors. and seeing the images beautifully laid out and well printed is always very rewarding in itself.  Working with talented people always brings out the best.

I love doing Editorial Assignments

I don’t do as much editorial work as I used to as it is difficult block out prime commercial booking dates very far in advance to accept editorial work.

However there are always exceptions, and the right project, the right subjects and working with those I know can change my mind.

I am always interested in collaborating on celebrity shoots or with exceptional models, photographers, stylists and producers and art directors.  I won’t normally work for free, however I will donate my Hair and Makeup services to reputable charities that I support.

If you have an editorial project and need great makeup and hair and think I would be a good fit, give me all the details including your budget and lets see what we can work out together.

Makeup and Hair for Commercials and Advertising

There is a lot of advertising that is every bit as interesting and creative as editorial work. When doing ads, catalogs, or brochures for print or websites I evaluate the specific needs for the job, the scheduling and amount of time involved and the number of subjects.

I also need to consider what type(s) of makeup and hair looks and styles are needed. From this I also take into consideration who the client is and if we have worked together before. I will give special consideration to multi-day bookings and clients that I have a history with.

Provide me with the information for your project I will give you a quote. My rates are very competitive, not the highest and not the lowest.
